wow.. i watched my friends tell me stories of how they were played and what not, but never actually had a story of how it’d happened to me. See the past tense HAD? I never knew i would actually go through this feeling. I’ve never felt like this before and this pain is worse than a charlie horse, worse than a sprained ankle, and even more worse than when i had my wisdom teeth pulled. See, how i feel is like a pain never imagined. I’ll see if i can transport my feelings through your body. You know how you feel when you go to an all you can eat buffet and you over-do and just want to shoot yourself because you are so full? Well what about when you have cramps to the point to where you cant do anything but lie on the floor and call mom? okay you’re still with me? Well what about that feeling when your mother finds out something you tried to keep a secret for awhile, yeah that second where your heart stops and you feel like you cant breathe? Have you ever been hot and cold at the same time, ha i didn’t think it was possible either. I am experiencing all of these at this very moment. See, its not the fact that i didn’t know. Its the fact that i knew and never paid attention to every detail like i should have. I was blinded by your beauty, voice, and lets not forget your lies in which i think about now, weren’t so great. After that one stunt you pulled the clouds started pulling apart and the blue sky started to become clear again. I never paid attention to the clouds though, i figured they would leave soon enough. Once they became steady in the sky i started to realize. But i realized too late. Now i’m so lost in these clouds i doubt if i will find my way back in time. Funny thing is, i started out in the ground. I was that treasure you found buried deep into the ground, surrounded by loose dirt. When i was found, you were pleased with all my diamonds, rubies, and gold bricks, but i guess complexity is not your thing. Little did i know you went digging again, this time much deeper. You found another treasure. This time filled with pearls. Simple, older pearls. You kept me around for a little while longer, but you knew you couldn’t keep both for too much longer. You kept rubbing and rubbing trying to make the pearls shine, everyday you would do that, while i didn’t require much at all. I shined on my own, i guess that’s what you got bored with. But no longer will i be a fool again, back to the ground i go. This time deeper, much deeper than the time before with thicker dirt also than which you dug before. The next man seeking a treasure will have to work 3 times as hard to find me. If he’s willing to keep digging then that’s the one i’ll choose. But now that i’m gone your pearls are free to shine.
